National Contingent Achieve Target

Palembang: Asean University Games (AUG) 17th edition in Palembang officially docked last night and contingent took home 40 gold, 43 silver and 49 bronze medals at the same time achieving the set target of 40 gold.

As usual, there is a sport that failed to reach the target and there is also a surprise, even though no one expects this scenario can occur.

For example, failing to meet the demands of martial arts even though they are expected to win three gold medals, but only one managed to take home.

On the other hand, sports such as tennis surprising success, especially success Jawariah Nordin gold drought that ended the 33 countries in the Games.

Overall, the performance of national athletes at the Games did not disappoint and it bodes Malaysia has never been short of high caliber athletes.
