ISN ORGANIZED INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF KINANTHROPOMETRY (ISAK)’ ACCREDITATION COURSE LEVEL 1 SERIES 1/2017

17 NOVEMBER 2017, BUKIT JALIL: The National Sports Institute (ISN) through the Professional Education Center, Research & Education Division has organized the ‘International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry’ (ISAK) accreditation course Level 1.

This course aims to provide participants with opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in body composition measurement tests using internationally recognized standards, ISAK.

In addition, this course will accredited the successful participants with ISAK level 1 certification.

A total of 12 participants comprising 5 ISN nutrition officers and 7 outsiders comprising lecturers, research officers and students from public and private universities attended the course.

Throughout this course the participants were exposed to knowledge and skills theoretically and practically on the basis of anthropometric measurement or body composition.

To qualify participants for ISAK level 1 certification, participants will also need to undergo practical assessment tests.

Overall, all participants have successfully completed the course.

This course ends with the presentation of the certificate of participation by Mr. Syed Faris Bin Syed Omar (Acting Director for Research & Education Division, ISN) to the participants of the course.
