ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH

Gender does not determine whether one is diligent of taking care his/her health. Be it men or women, it all depends on the attitude. Attitude will determine our sensitivity towards our health. As men, we believe you too have your own way in maintaining your health. Keep it up! Hopefully the tips given below will be of help.

INCREASE WORK ACTIVITY AT YOUR WORK PLACE

There is no reason not to be active at your work place. There are three easy ways to do it if you wish to stay active while working.

  • Do more legs exercises in the morning. Park your car a few blocks further from your office. Do some walking. It looks easy but you will not realize that you might have walked a hundred steps.
  • Want to have a discussion with your colleagues? Forget about emails, whatsapp and chat. Walk to them and discuss while standing. (But cut it short, else your boss will thought you’re loafing on your job).
  • Use a squeeze ball whenever you have a chance. It helps in strengthening the arm and hand muscle. In fact it can also reduce stress.

KEEP TRACK

You might not realize how much you’ve walked in one day. And that does not include going up the stairs yet. Best if you can get a fitness equipment that can keep track of the number of steps that you have taken in a day. There are various brands available in the market now. Just wear it on your hand and you will be able to track your total steps and fitness level day by day.

DO NOT HOLD

Holding Urine is bad for health. It could be okay to hold it for an hour or two. But if you force your body to hold it for a longer period, it is feared that it might have an adverse effect on your bladder. This is told by Joshua Meeks, M.D, Ph.D, and Urology Expert for Northwestern Medicine. It is not impossible that you will have so much problem, so much so that it hurts when you urinate.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN WHILE EXERCISING

You are free to be involved in whatever sports that you like, but take note of the weather. If the temperature is too high, it is better to use protection such as hats, long sleeve shirts and long pants. For sure it will be hot but it is better than letting the sunlight harm your skin. Pick materials that is not hot and absorb sweat. Remember to also put on sunscreen.
