The National Coaching Conference is an in house event for our National High-Performance Coaches. The main goal and objective of the conference is to bring together all our coaches in the spirit of learning and development, in preparation for the 2017 SEA Games held in Malaysia.
The key topics that will be discussed are as follows:
- Communication
- Sharing Past SEA Games experiences
- Building Culture and facilitating change
- Learning from world class coaches
- Best Practice: Technical athlete development plans
The Conference will be held at the Palace of the Golden Horses in Selangor, a venue which has a rich tradition of hosting major International events.
The slogan of the National Coaching Conference is “Always Coaching, Always Learning” which has a strong link to the Malaysian sporting ethos which is all about having a growth mindset to achieve success – being a long life learner, and always wanting to improve.
Other major highlights of the Conference will be the announcement of the Malaysian coaching academy website, and learning from renowned international high performance sports professionals.
